Both Patty and Maria need to be voted out.

If you can't bother to get out and vote at a polling place because you are too lazy - then you likely don't know enough about the candidates or issues to vote intelligently.

Right wingers don't like making it easier to vote, because that brings more Democratic voters in.

That's the REAL reason the right wing is against it, but they pretend it's not existent voter fraud.
Sound Politics: A Review Of Distributed Vote Fraud

We had a gubernatorial election in 2004 in which ultimately Dem. Christine Gregoire won over R. Dino Rossi by 129 votes. The result was challenged in court, and while the judge did conclude that at least 1600 votes had been illegally cast, there was no evidence of how they affected the tally.

Also there were over 50,000 'enhanced' ballots in King County (county in which Seattle lies) alone. These were ballots that were wrongly filled out and had to be interpreted to divine voter intent. For example in one case, a voter marked the ballot for Dem. Christine Gregorie, then wrote in 'Christine Rossi' in the write-in space. That vote was counted for Dem. Chris Gregoire.

Or you have a work/commute schedule that makes it difficult to go and wait in line at the polling place during the day. Voting by mail is great--and much more efficieient and cheaper.

The ultimate nightmare for republicans...Internet voting. We can file and pay taxes online why not vote.
