The article is talking about the global elite especially those in third world countries.

US tax polices have no effect on them.

Right, the people that spend their life working their butts off to acquire wealth should be happy to hand it over to the freeloaders. Good idea, 'cause that beats the h3ll out of getting off your dead a$$ and working for it.
Everyone started with the same opportunities, some chose to work, some chose to freeload..
One can only guess which path you decided to follow...
In November, when obama is returned to Chicago sewer, all the hidden wealth will be invested and the country will blossom like a beautiful flower...
We shall overcome...!

If you want more revenue - lower taxes.

If the efforts on the intense and insane envy of rich people were spent actually doing something productive, what a different world it would be.

Except the consumers don't have the money to spend, and lowering taxes simply won't translate into more money in their pockets. In the mean time, bridges continue to crumble, the k-12 system is in a state of neglect, police and firefighters are repeated targets for lay offs... Allowing our actual infrastructure to crumble will be counterproductive if you want to encourage investment here in the business community. They will not be interested in paying 1st world wages in a country running on a third world infrastructure.

Unfortunately, at some point, either taxes will have to increase, or spending will have to increase. Spending won't increase while our middle class looses wealth, and credit runs dry for the average spender. This is the race to the bottom dilemma with no easy, or even right answer.

Of course this would limit the size of government, something Im sure the o.p. would be against.

The real black hole in the economy is the one called government.
