Fact= The pharmaceutical industry cannot profit from marijuana being legalized.
Additional fact= The pharmaceutical industry will lose money if marijuana is legalized.
Western medicine is horrific for preventive medicine and corrupt for overprescribing . It is a heartless and corrupt system that uhurts the naive. I've never taken prescription meds in my adult life. Most cures for common ailments can be found through natural means.
Proof that marajuana is safer than Vicodin - when is the last time someone stoned on pot committed a mass shooting? The worst they probably did was rob a 7-11 for munchies!
"Like virtually all massacre shooters before him, the notorious Batman shooter James Holmes is now reported to have been taking hardcore pharmaceutical drugs. In Holmes’ case, they happen to be the very same drugs that ultimately led to the early death of actor Heath Ledger.
With a fix for ‘altering his state of mind’, the ‘Batman shooter’ was heavily hooked on the prescription painkiller Vicodin. Holmes even reportedly dosed up on a pharmaceutical cocktail just before the shooting.
Side effects of Vicodin use, even at ‘recommended’ levels which Holmes likely far exceeded, include ‘altered mental states’ and ‘unusual thoughts or behavior’."
Actually there are several reported cases of people high on weed chewing on peoples faces, something people on vicodin have not done... Let's not legalize it.

It would appear the OP didn't even read the links within his own linked article.

It also emerged that in the days before the attack, Holmes, a cannabis smoker,....
It's nice to look at all the pretty pictures but sometimes, it helps to read the articles.
The pictures weren't pretty, but I did read the articles (it was a local event after all) and they all say the same thing: only pot was found in his system. He was in a condition known as "pot-psychosis". People in this condition can be extremely dangerous. If they are going to legalize pot, they better expand the SYG laws, so we can defend ourselves against these psychos.
Yep, a pot head. Just as I had suspected. Well, we can add Holmes to long list of people who commit violent crimes while under the influence of marijuana.
So maybe he was so strung out on drugs that that was what scrambled his brains past the breaking point.
But with all the booby traps and "explosives" he rigged up in his apartment, shouldn't that have triggered some red flags with his searching over the internet on how to make them? Or were they really low tech amateurish traps that were pretty simple? And didn't he tell the police about them?
I wonder about the guys psyche. He seemed to be intent on killing as many people as he could but also seemed to have no desire to be killed with his body armor and also seemed unaware that he could be caught by the police. He surrendered without a struggle. Theres conflicting intentions there. His mind was completely chaotic. He may be brought back to sanity and then he'll have an even greater urge to disappear into a drug induced haze.
The Arizona killer, is he still completely insane?
I liked one news commentator on local talk radio who said " He's not so much crazy as just evil."
