Where did I ever state one word about "African-Americans". Your emotion based logic is irrational and illogical.
Africans have been in America basically as long as Europeans. Their neighborhoods are basically segregated and there are 40 million of y'all and hundreds of millions of European Americans. There is no risk of cultural/ethnic genocide in America. America is huge and consists of 350 million plus people.
Greece, a small country consisting of 10-11 million, so yes "diversity" is a threat to their national identity.
I would appreciate if you would stop putting words in my mouth, it makes you seem unintelligent and incoherent.
I have done nothing to you. Your own post speak for themselves.
People like you are a serious threat to human biodiversity.
Cultures and languages are dying every day as globalization runs its course. If you get your wish there will be no cultural, linguistic, or ethnic diversity left in the world in the future.
The funny thing is, I assume you are a steadfast champion of "diversity". If I am wrong, I apologize.
You know nothing about me, aside from what I have posted here (or in my profile)... so you are wrong about many things, I imagine. But this thread isn't about "gizmo," it's about a Greek athlete who thinks Twitter is an appropriate venue for spreading xenophobia. Stay on topic please.
Race is extended family- what's wrong with a bit of family pride and poking some fun at the neighboring family? What's the big deal...We have made jokes about Italians and Jews for decades..and they laugh at us...who does it harm? Come on now...what about dumb blonde jokes? All people from every race and culture can fend for themselves - If they had the choice they would not want the help of political correctors who correct what does not need fixing- Humans are resilient...we are not delicate little worms- so back off.

Exactly. That is why my statements were directed towards your comments regarding immigration, which I feel is destructive and dangerous.

"Spreading xenophobia" I don't even know what that means...I am sure the Greeks don't even have a word for it..and I am sure the Greek "offender" does not have that word in his vocabulary.. Soon as you see that world "appropriate" you know exactly who and what you are dealing with- there is no need to know more...I am surprised I have not seen the phrase "I am not comfortable with that"- it's a standard bit of rhetoric for those who seek to correct every one like a cruel father with the stick of political correctness- enough all ready- Did an AFRICAN in Greece file a complaint? NO- of course not- probably some pushy German who still wants to rule the world.

You have your opinion, and I have mine... but unlike you, I will not call you "wrong" or destructive. I also don't care what this athlete said, I'm only explaining why she can't be surprised at the consequences. If I were an Olympic athlete posting these views on Twitter, I would expect to have some criticism as a result. That is all.
