Baltimore to immigrants: Welcome in, no questions asked - U.S. News

So why isn't Obama suing Baltimore for welcoming "illegal" immigrants? Baltimore can't attract legal immigrants or citizens to their city? They must be doing something wrong and the fault must lay with the leadership of their city.

Learn to read. What does the title of your thread say? Baltimore to IMMIGRANTS. not illegal.

Governor Owe'Malley is a hardcore Democrat. A Lexus Liberal. MO'M is probably good friends with Obama and thus gets a blind eye from the leftist DOJ.

I don't think deporting illegals en masse is the right answer at all, but neither is simply letting them stay undocumented.

e: Kings Hockey, the actual article says the mayor has enacted some policies that make it easier for unauthorized immigrants to be in Baltimore.

Learn how to read ARTICLES. Not just the headline:

Quote:
"In March, Rawlings-Blake signed an order prohibiting police and social agencies from asking anyone about immigration status. The order also says no city funds, resources, or personnel shall* be used to investigate or arrest people solely for a civil violation of federal immigration law. And it asks U.S. immigration agents to tell people they arrest that they are from the federal government, not the city."

So, Baltimore is going to be the next sanctuary city.
Maybe they are desperate to get people in there to generate some revenue.

Thanks and you're so right. The article should be read because it does state that Baltimore is also welcoming illegal aliens.

Why would 'immigrants', legal or illegal want to live in Baltimore.

Because it is the place where those fabulous John Waters movies are made.

Because women still wear "big hair" hairdos.

Because people call you "Hon" ...

Because they make the best crabcakes in the world.

Because they have Attman's Deli on Lombard Street.

Good deal. Lets put every illegal alien that we catch in the city of Baltimore, maybe it could take some of the
heat off of Chicago.
