I lived on roscoe just off broadway for a while about 20 years ago.
Then I migrated to school\sheffield and then up into ravenswood on then burbs etc etc etc.
You are kidding me!!! My sister had a place on Melrose between Halsted and Broadway. And then my father was a block over on Aldine. His place was right next to Yoshi's. Small world!
We had a gay chef here in my hometown who made the best Prime Rib I have ever had. What was great about it was we all dressed up in our Sunday bests and just go to enjoy not only good food but time spent with family, friends.I don't give a rats a$$ if you are gay its your life just don't push it on me.....yes I have family that are gay,bi-sexual.

When has a gay person ever tried to push you into a gay lifestyle?
When has a gay person ever tried to push you into a gay lifestyle?
It happened to me.
A bunch of gay guys broke into my house and not only cleaned it but redecorated it! They threw out all my clothes - especially my Phillies jerseys (even my beloved Chase Utley one!) and dragged me to different men's clothing stores and picked out color coordinated outfits in natural fabrics and hand-tailoring like you see in GQ magazine. Then they got rid of all my cheap liquor and beer and replaced it with premium brands, vintage wines, and artisan craft ales. On top of that they bought me memberships to museums and season tickets to the symphony and opera.
How can I live like this??? Clean house ... clean pressed clothes ... books and artworks everywhere ... workout equipment ... the 'Fridge stocked with healthy and nutritious food ... before the "gay lifestyle" was forced on me I never even heard of brunch, didn't know you were supposed to flush toilets after each and every use, and that nose-picking and farting in public was impolite.
Sheesh.
