The point is that when someone says that homosexuals have the same rights as heterosexuals, they are technically correct. Now, do same-sex couples have the same rights as opposite-sex couples? Absolutely not. I think it's good to be clear about this.
The same laws apply to everyone. Just because you don't like the laws, does not authorize you to destroy private property.
This has been a stupid argument ever since the State of Virginia argued before the United States Supreme Court in 1967 that laws banning interracial marriages were non-discriminatory because everyone was equally free to marry someone of their own race.
The USSC, not being fools, unanimously disagreed.
By tailoring the law to only allow heterosexuals to marry the gender of consenting adult to which they are attracted, the law is discriminatory.
I hope, when a same-sex marriage case actually reaches the high court, that opponents of same-sex marriage are actually dumb enough to parrot the laughable nonsense you're putting forth. Few attorneys are actually this moronic, however, so they concede that it is discriminatory, but justifiably so. They're wrong, but at least they can see beyond the blatant idiocy of the 'logic' you're trying to peddle.

You can call people stupid, but it ends the discussion.
Have a nice day.
PS If you come around to destroy my property, I can guarantee that it will not be tolerated.

No they are not as long as DOMA is on the books and same sex marriage is not allowed in any one particular state. When a same sex marriage obtained in a state that has legalized it is recognized as legitimate in one that has not, then I would agree with you.

If you restrict your argument to laws pertaining to destruction of private property, yes I agree. As to the right to marry the person you love, not so much.
