Obama started out a Muslim, and later joined a Chicago Church that is down for the struggle.
I don't know his religion.
I imagine Obama is an Atheist; possibly Agnostic.
I don't think he is a religious person, and he only joined that Trinity United church to gain credibility with the local African-American culture. I mean, who was 0bama, when he arrived in Chicago? He was a kid from Hawaii, who went to private schools, and then ivy league schools. What the hell would this this spoiled and papered rich kid from Hawaii, know about life in the mean streets of Chicago? Answer, join a popular black church in Chicago, for show.

There you go.
An asset to community organizing as well.
Apparently I don't know what religion he is either!! I THOUGHT he was Church of Christ, but wiki says he is unaffiliated (wth). Just because you quit one particular church, it doesn't mean you reject the religion, he would still be Church of Christ, right? Heck, no wonder people are confused.
I'm not sure if he's Christian or Muslim, American or Foreign. I actually don't know anything about the guy, thanks to the media covering up his past, which I assume is full of Affirmative Action, Black Liberation Theology, etc.
Obama's beliefs is steeped in Black Liberation Theology. He went to Rev Wrights church or 20 years and Wright follows James Hal Cone who founded Black Liberation Theology or Black power.
