Al Qaeda was created by the West, and is currently in use.

"In their determination to destabilise Syria, oust Bashar al-Assad's government, and install a compliant regime - thus weakening Iran - Western leaders are supporting Al Qaeda terrorists responsible for blowing up US soldiers in Iraq.

Al Qaeda's presence in Syria has been fleetingly acknowledged by both the US and British governments and widely discussed in the alternative media, though the fact that fundamentalist terrorists are behind much of the violence in the country goes largely unmentioned in our leaders' propagandistic tirades against Assad."

If you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

This part of the world needs to break the cycle of violence.

The Russian Orthodox Church has asked Vladimir Putin to protect Syrian Christians.

" When Vladimir Putin sought support from Russia's religious leaders in his recent presidential election campaign
he pledged millions to reconstruct places of worship and for religious schools. The Orthodox Church said it did

I have heard Hillary Clinton mention this several times as one of the reasons we are not helping out more in Syria.

Yes, just as Sadaam's ouster has led to intensified persucution of Iraqi Christians. Sadaam was relatively secular - so why the push by America to get rid of him and replace him with the Iran-supported Muslim Shiite fundamentalists?
This has happened in Libya, Egypt and now Syria is in play. The West seems hell-bent on giving control of these countries to Al Qaeda - our supposed great terrorist threat - supposedly the ones who destroyed the towers on 9-11. Go figure.

That seems to be the trend, deposing secular, pluralist governments; and that trend may not end at Middle East borders.

Sorry, but al Qaeda wasn't, sponsored, funded and certainly not created by the west. It was created specifically because the west was sponsoring, funding and otherwise guiding the Afghan Mujahideen.

Any government without the consent of the governed will not last long.

What's your solution? Kill all Muslims?

Assad murders his own people for simply opposing him. It'd be like barrack Obama killing every member of the gop
