WTF is wrong with this guy? Or was this just a case of liberal Romney versus conservative Romney. I honestly don't know what the hell he stands for.

Well -- why do you think so many millions of people are leaving their own country of Mexico to come here? They obviously aren't impressed with the culture of their country. The volumes of those fleeing the country speaks volumes about the culture there.

Ok, let me spell it out for our "special" members.

Why is liberal Mitt bragging in Spanish about his Mexican heritage, yet conservative Mitt slams Mexican culture? Which Mitt is right??

Obama's Spanish is much better than Mitt's Spanish, at least liberal Mitt's Spanish, haven't heard conservative or moderate Mitt speak Spanish, maybe it's good. I would imagine it would have to be in order to communicate with the illegal immigrants who worked on his house.

I'm almost positive it's the better quality of life and better economy here in the US that brings them here. A lot of Mexican immigrants tend to keep their culture, shown by the fact that predominantly Latino neighborhoods spring up.

I have searched Mitt Romney's bloodlines and he has no Spaniards in his ancestry. His father was simply born in Mexico and that has no bearing on his bloodlines nor his ethnicity and certainly not Mitt's because he isn't hispanic ethnically either and was born here. How does one look hispanic anyway? Some Hispanics are purely from Spanish lines and others are mixed with indio blood. The former usually look very white and the latter can look very dark.

That's fine just as long as they come here legally. Immigrants of any nationality tend to keep some of their culture alive. However, if one wants to migrate to another country they should assimilate to that nation's culture along with that. Since there are so many from one group here that isn't happening. Diversity in immigration is something we should seek to strive for and that will eliminate the non-assimilation problem.
