i do think you are slightly missing the bigger point-which is that tom cruise can't push policy on me or interfere in my rights, but the president can. i want to be completely sure that we don't have presidents who "owe favors"- due to favors granted-, and i really don't think that is too much to ask.
i also find it odd that obama wants his privacy AT THE SAME TIME he is taking away privacy rights for the citizens. he sure as heck doesn't deserve more privacy than the rest of us.
Obama has released his tax returns. Romney has not. Both released birth certificates. Both have foreign born fathers. Neither have released transcripts. Why don't you start a thread about Romney releasing his tax returns, IC? He's behind.

They both should disclose more information so that voters can make a more informed decision. Romney needs to disclose his tax records, transcripts, etc. Obama needs to do the same.
Same thing with everyone saying Obama graduated with honors. Who knows this? Nobody has see any proof!

I don't care what Harvard says, let's see them. They can say anything they want and nobody would know if they are lying or not because nobody would ever see the transcripts. I don't trust ANYTHING about this imposter called Barack Obama.
That depends on legacy, donor, or affirmative action status.
Legacies don't always get admitted.
Donors certainly don't openly ask for a quid pro quo.
And many people that would meet affirmative action status are also outstanding scholars.
Your comments about affirmative action suggests that you thing that all minority students have poor grades. That kind of assumption is what leads to racism accusations. Many minority students are brilliant. And those are the minority students that Harvard and other top-tier schools go after. Harvard doesn't admit students with low grades. Period.
