My grand was sent home the otherday for calling some kid in his physical education class a ******. His parents have a meeting with the teacher and principal about it in a few days. Are kids nowadays just coddled wimps? Back when I was in school the word ****** wasn't a big deal and we called one another all sorts names all the time and nobody would go to the principal about it. Whatever happened to raising up boys to be men?
How about you teach your grandson to not be a disrespectful tool?
The proper punishment was for your grandson is to have been immediately hit in the jaw and knocked on his butt.
If the students at his school have been conditioned against reacting in this time honored and very effective way then it is up to the boy's father to knock some sense into the kid.
If your son won't take that responsibility upon himself - then it falls on you - as the grandfather.
Sounds like your grandson justs needs a good belting to teach him to control his mouth.
, it's the first step to graduating to the criminal justice system.
Haha really? So we should start watching out for all the kids that call each other names in the locker room and behind closed doors because they will probably end up in prison? Slippery slope argument taken to the extreme.
Kids are kids. Let em be kids. They do something stupid they should be corrected and appropriatly punished. Have em stay after school and clean the damn lockers or something. Of course the unions would probably scream about that. What does suspending anyone help for something like this? Your grandkid gets a vacation from school and the kid who went and cried to his parents now is a tattletale whiner. Good work "adults".
I know kids who would've started calling others names just to get suspended. Maybe, he should have told the kid he was an a**hole and nothing would've happened.
Kids say things and it doesn't always start at home, my kids said words and they didn't come from us..........the playground is a breeding ground for trash talk.
You son just needs to be beat up by the decent kids.
Nothing more than cracked ribs and busted teeth.
It's called life.

Oh, like it's a huge surprise that the OP, whose online username is a tribute to the President of the Confederacy, would have a grandson who spews hate invective at fellow students. We should all be baffled and scratching our heads at how that word was planted into his grandson's mind.
