Russia only cares about Syria because it is where their only port to the med is. The "rebel" force will of course be supported by NATO strikes just like in Libya. Same game different country. Just have to feed more propoganda to the US sheep about how horrible the evil syria is killing folks all over when it is actually AQ or "rebels" doing the staged attacks. Hillary and her "rebel" army are running roughshod over the mideast. Remember Obama and his off camera comment to Putin saying I'll be able to help you out after the election? Basically saying don't worry you'll still have your port buddy. It's all a game of chess.

Did somebody say no fly zone? Yep I think Hillary did.............

"Mrs. Clinton, who also announced an additional $5.5 million in humanitarian assistance for refugees, left open the possibility of setting up a no-fly zone, suggesting that the new planning team assigned to perform an “intense analysis” of all options could be a precursor to more direct assistance. But she stopped short of describing specific plans for helping Syria’s opposition fighters now, or the timing."

Yes, the Western powers always have their own economic interests in mind, but is Iraq, Afganistan, Egypt or Libya more of an economic asset to us now rather than before? The Christians in those countries are certainly more endangered.

Will Russia abandon it's navy base in Syria to NATO ? [US & Turkey]

And how about Russia's ally, Armenia... Armenian Christians in Syria are being threatened by US/Turkey-backed rebels.
