Well I guess this supports an easy compliance with the porn industry. Now the popular 17 year old sad excuse for a young guy can brainwash all the little girlies to say goodbye to Motherhood for life.
How many women once 35 and up, think on life that a child may have been the way to go for fulfillment once the partying is over and no one seems so interested in them anymore..?
So all the choosing and rights will be over....to please one football star at 15 years old because he is pressuring the girl..( whats that a 2week deal at most..?
The Obamanation Obomb against womanhood and "for" ...the pushy teenage male-flunk of a human being. So instead of cutting the major cause-porn and other out, they cut the women's very heart out. Otta toss these wanna be casanovas in jail. They should pay the price if they get the girl with child or not....bunch of deadbeats, no money, no achievement- lies and no plans.
What ARE you talking about? So you think there's going to be a significant number of 17 year old boys talking their "girlfriends" into sterilization? Btw, how old are YOU?
the OP does not give women and men the ability to make self determination decisions. The OP thinks these young people are illiterate and stupid. Now, if that is not insulting, what is....
If these young people want to decide not to have children, and want to focus on self development, that should be applauded.
In this nation we do not hold 15 year-olds to the same criminal standards as someone over 18 because developmentally they are not able to comprehend the cause and effect relationship of their choices and actions. Teenagers think differently than adults. There people who try to get their sterilizations reversed who made that decision as an adult.
Quote:
Patient regret following the procedure is the most common long-term complication of sterilization, with rates reported anywhere from 0.9% to 26% for female sterilization32 and less than 5% for male sterilization.33 According to the CREST study, the cumulative probability of expressing regret following tubal sterilization was 12.7% (95% CI, 11.2–14.3).32 Several patient characteristics have been determined to be predictors of regret. Young age at the time of sterilization is the strongest predictor of future regret. Women under the age of 30 at the time of the procedure were twice as likely as women older than 30 to report regretting having the procedure performed.32 Women who are sterilized postpartum also report higher rates of regret than those patients who received interval tubal ligations.34,35 Divorce and/or remarriage subsequent to sterilization, being poor (eg, Medicaid patients), or being of Hispanic origin also predicts higher rates of regret32 following female sterilization
If you have worked with a large number of teenagers you know this is way too permanent of of decision to make. Cripes, we don't even expect them to know what kind of job they would want in the future.
I am concerned that this rule from Obamacare will be used as a form of controlling population from certain people. Isn't this more of the old time progressive method of controlling certain people from procreating? I see it as just that, for poor people and certain races. I love how the supporters of this crap talk in such high sounding words but won't talk about what is really happening. Listen to Nasty Nancy on the video.
Allowing 15 year olds to make decisions that will "permanently" alter their bodies.
Whats the difference, they can and do have baby's all of the time and the government picks up the tab and pays for them until they're 18 and beyond. Believe me, if they can make the decision to have a baby, then I am quite certain they can make this decision also.
Well it's not like this country needs more people. We are already on a path to overpopulation, so the more birth control and sterilizations, the better off we all will be.
And then there's all those unproductive old people sucking up all the Social Security money...
Wouldn't that be population control? Eliminate old people that have outlived their economic usefullness rather than innocent unborn babies with unlimited potential.
