The claim that OBAMACARE cuts $700 BILLION from Medicare is TRUE and the GOOD NEWS is that in doing so, it INCREASES HEALTHCARE FOR SENIORS and AT THE SAME TIME cuts fraud, WASTE and abuse. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office determined that the Medicare provisions in President Obama's health care law would save $700 BILLION over a decade and EXTENDS THE LIFE OF MEDICARE. Extends it EIGHT YEARS.
The ROMNEY-RYAN plan takes $700 BILLION AWAY FROM SENIORS but does NOT use it to fund HEALTH SERVICES for ANYBODY. Yet Republicans in the House voted to strip that $700 Billion FROM SENIORS ENTIRELY. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates under the ROMNEY-RYAN plan new Medicare beneficiaries will pay more than $1,200 OUT OF POCKET by 2030 and more than $5,900 more by 2050 and SHIFT ADDITIONAL COSTS to seniors by RAISING the eligibility age to 67. This NEGATIVELY impacts today's middle-aged, middle class HARD WORKING Americans while giving the wealthiest 1-percent HUGE TAX BREAKS.

The government hasn't identified any corruption, abuse, fraud and hasn't caught anyone yet BUT has listed $50 billion per year for 10 years in cuts.
How does one budget $500 billion in cuts (to fraud, waste, corruption) when they haven't identified any ?
Fraud, waste and corruption is usually caught during criminal activity and you don't know how much you've lost until you do a count. But our Congress is that smart that they can see into the future to cut $50/billion a year for 10 years in fraud ? Why aren't they cutting the entire $500 billion in "fraud" right away ?

You got suckered into that one. Pelosi has been touting "fraud" for nearly 3 years now and Congress has done nothing about it. But now they will take their time and cut $50 billion of fraud from the system each year for 10 years ? Do you honestly believe that ?
The truth is that seniors themselves won't be cut but the services, doctors, hospitals they use will get changes, some of which are cuts.
They are freezing plans to medicare advantage.
Hospitals may get reduced payments for readmissions.
A new board will be formed to reduce medicare spending (but they are not allowed to ration)
Payments to providers will be restructured (not increased though).
LOL - the Wyden-Ryan plan is not a voucher system. You don't get a check from the government to purchase a private plan.
The level of misinformation and poor reading comprehension on this issue only serves to highlight as an example of how poor the US education system truly is.
