While your argument is the best so far, it doesn't fit Paul Ryan. He really does not listen to his constituents.

Also, to answer your question, I wouldn't be put in that situation because:

1. I have no want to run for elected office.

2. If I did I would not vote for or against something the people I am representing do or don't want. Ryan is there for himself, not the people who elected him to be their voice.

Odd conclusions on your part.

Ryan doesn't listgen to his constituents?? That must be why he gets elected by a good margin in a district that is largely democrat. Does that make sense to you?

I understand you "have no want to run for elected office". That's OK. That wasn't the question.

Your point #2 is precious. You've got political double-talk down pat.

Default Paul Ryan brings home the pork

Why so-called fiscal conservatives support this guy is beyond me.

He has to do something for the people who voted him into office. He might not always like it, but the voters expect something to come back to them. That is the nature of the beast.

That doesn't change the fact that he's a hypocrite.

Agree, and it's so much better to be open about thievery like democrats are.
At least we know what we're dealing with, with them.

Exactly. Unfortunately most people out there think there's a real difference between the two parties.
