This **** happens every day to other black kids who may wonder into the wrong neighborhood. Do you seriously know how many other black people I know have this same story or how many times I have seen this happen in person?
You must be desperate to bring Zimmerman into this conversation. Zimmerman was not the aggressor, he was jumped by a neighborhood hoodlum. He'd probably be dead but for the fact he was armed and able to defend himself.
Trayvon Martin wasn't from the Sanford neighborhood where George Zimmerman lived - he was from Miami.

Way too often, conservatives defend the agressor (ie, Zimmerman) in bias crimes committed by whites against blacks (I know that Zimmerman is only 1/2 white though) and get riled up more by hate crimes (with no real proof that they are) done by minorities against whites than vice versa and I'm sick of it. If you think I"m wrong do some research and take off your tin foil hat.
Zimmerman's money wasn't coming from liberals for sure.
You don't know if Zimmerman was the agressor though. I would say that anyone who jumped to conclusions that he wasn't was based on his injuries and how he says he sustained them, not race. None of us know the truth of what happened and we will just have to wait till this case goes to court that is why I am not taking sides on this and I am also a white conservative. Why is it ok to assume that it was the black guy who was the innocent but not the other way around?
Tin foil hat? I wouldn't make remarks like that to any member in here. How about discussing things civily?

Just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't mean you get to accuse them of being conspiracy theorists. If you stay in school, you could learn how to express yourself without resorting to silly expressions like that. He has nothing to do with this thread.

A large majority of "hostile neighborhoods" in this country are inhabited by "African Americans".
I know better than to stray from my side of town. My neighborhood, on the other hand, welcomes all people from all walks of life, as long as respect is shown for the neighborhood.

are you serious? I can post dozens if not hundreds of links to prove my point, and you KNOW it! i didn't say the MEDIA ignored it, i said the MAINSTREAM media such as CNN, NY Times, Foxnews, MSNBC etc., have ignored it. one obscure media source isn't exactly an outcry or getting the word out to the general public. if Trevon Martin was white the story would have been a blurb in the local newspaper, not nationwide news where washed up celebrities like spike lee can tweet someone's address to get them killed and nothing happens to Lee.
When I did a Google search on the victims name it returned stories by the following organizations.

There were other also, I didn't click through to the stories, but it would appear that at least a local Fox affiliate covered the story.

The OP started a thread about false outrage when there was no facts to back up that the crime was motivated by race. Again, conservatives (most of them) love to get outraged when a minority beats up a white person, but almost always defend the white aggressor when there is a hate crime (or what could be) and a minority is the victim. That's the point being made with Zimmerman.
