I remember witnessing shootouts in a small city growing up. The only news is what the local sports teams did, but they could never report the shootings or crime that took place. America is funny like that.
I've heard people here say we're desensitized to sex, and while that is probably true, we're even more desensitized to violence... sad, isn't it?
It was only a matter of time before the race bait threads reappeared.
And subsequently, it was only a matter of time before the deflectors and apologists appeared ..... way to go libs, people getting beat up is a GOOD thing, as long as white people get beaten up ......
They should get life in prison with no parole. The prison guards should beat them up everyday with their billy clubs. They should get taze sessions. Endless pain for the rest of their lives.

I live i a pretty small town and any shooting got headlines. When i live in the city is was just listed in the crime report ;maybe. Chicago would have room now it he newspaper as its so comon.
It didn't make the news because this is what happens in the 'hood all the time. People get shot and killed in the hood by the thousands, and not a peep from the media, except when it happens at a suburban shopping mall or theater. Zimmerman makes the news mostly because he shot and killed an older teenager in the quiet suburbs. If this had happened in some ghetto in the City of Orlando, nothing would have happened. People would be asking, "George and Martin who?". This has nothing to do with race, crimes happening in the ghetto don't make the news because it's not shocking, it's more like no crap, it is the ghetto after all.
Six people were murdered during a 24 hour period in South Central Los Angeles earlier this summer - and that made the news.
of course we don't have to ask what would happen if the races were reversed. seems occurances like this are happening way more frequently yet not a peep from the mainstream media. this must be another Romney conspiracy.
