Then we better legalize homosexual marriage soon, eh?
The fact remains, as it's been said, the study is almost 20 years old, therefore irrelevant to current times. There's also more extenuating circumstances than marriage to this, such as social life and whatnot.
Marriage is not the shield many idiots want to think it is. It does not stop sex, it does not stop abortion, and it does not stop adults from having fun.
It doesn't stop incest and child sexual abuse either.
The marriage should last for a minimum period of 5 years, then at least another 2 years before re-marriage.
What if the husband rapes his wife? What if the husband is abusive to his wife and kids?
Does the two year waiting time apply for men or just women?

A man can marry as many times as is necessary.
So a women should only be able to marry three times, but a man can marry as often as he wants to? So what is the woman to do if she is in her third marriage and she wants a divorce because her husband is cheating? Should she be allowed to divorce him or should she be forced to stay married to him?
When were those better times? When slavery ruled Blacks? When women couldn't vote? When children in Europe were sent to America to work as indentured servants to support themselves?
And the best part about being raped by your husband is that it is more than likely to happen more than once, in fact, 20 or more times!! What a lucky woman!!!
"Approximately 10-14% of married women are raped by their husbands in the United States. Approximately one third of women report having 'unwanted sex' with their partner. Historically, most rape statutes read that rape was forced sexual intercourse with a woman not your wife, thus granting husbands a license to rape. On July 5, 1993, marital rape became a crime in all 50 states, under at least one section of the sexual offense codes. In 20 states, the District of Columbia, and on federal lands there are no exemptions from rape prosecution granted to husbands. However, in 30 states, there are still some exemptions given to husbands from rape prosecution. In most of these 30 states, a husband is exempt when he does not have to use force because his wife is most vulnerable (e.g., she is mentally or physically impaired, unconscious, asleep, etc.) and is unable to consent. Women who are raped by their husbands are likely to be raped many times, often 20 or more times. They experience not only vaginal rape, but also oral and anal rape. Researchers generally categorize marital rape into three types; force-only rape, battering rape and sadistic." Marital Rape: New Research and Directions
The Internet is a wonderful thing....a person can look up all kinds of "information" to suit their agenda.
Identities are hidden to some extent so Scared Little men With Tiny Weinie Syndrome can promote their hatred (FEAR) of women to their hearts content and their family and friends may never know what hatred burns in their shriveled hearts.
They can't come right out and say, "I hate and fear women , I must crush them so I feel better about my loser self!"....so they hide it, shivering in fear and nip away like those little yappy dogs ....
Well, marriage rates have gone down sine this report came out so what does that say? I
