Then let "god" take care of it if he exists and the Anti-Women faction should mind their own business.

"god" doesn't live here.

He doesn't face a life of poverty and hardship.

He doesn't face the worry of how to care for a child, or children.

He doesn't have to face the loss of a precious job.

He doesn't have to live in a dangerous neighborhood becasue he can't afford to move.

He doesn't have to face the hate and scorn of Republicans who hate the poor ...especially poor mothers..

HE should've made all humans perfect, he didn't(FAILURE)....not even MEN are perfect...not even YOU!

Americans didn't decide abortion is legal. Seven old men imposed their will on America.

YUP! THAT'S the way it works....but it wasn't their will, it was the law.

Now , YOU approve of other old men criminalizing women who have abortions...men in a party with the same mindset as a rapist(control, overpower, attack, denigrate, humiliate women) is dangerous to women's rights and freedom.

Old men who want women imprisoned like breeding cattle so they can't have an abortion.

I prefer old men who recognize that freedom and liberty are the right of A L L Americans...

The OP brings up a good point.

If you outlaw abortion, or amend the constitution with this personhood stuff - what then is the practical outcome?

What do you do about the black market BC? Do we have the DEA enforce the laws against BC (BC that stops implantation of a fertilized egg, aka A Person)?

What do you do with pregnant women who seek medical treatment for botched self induced abortions? Do you fine them, jail them, what?

Do we jail doctors who perform abortions illegally?

Do we investigate all miscarriages, make sure they're "legit"?

Do we jail women who have abortions? Do we make seeking an abortion a conspiracy to commit murder?

How is all this intended to work, practically speaking, should it come to pass?

Why are Romney/Ryan such wimps when it comes to abortion, they say they are against it but do not say they would push the US Supreme court to over turn the right of women to have abortions.
Women would have abortions out of the USA, easy answer, check all women, girls, of child bearing age before allowing them out of the country.

It would upset women voters, so what comes first stopping abortion completely or having more women voting for the GOP ?
I'm very pro-life, but I oppose criminalizing abortion. Doing so wouldn't stop it and would just make it more dangerous for women who seek to have it done. While I abhor the idea of a woman killing her child in utero, I know that laws won't stop it from happening.

The candidates know that abortion will never be criminalized, so they can pander to their base and show their pro-life beliefs, but will never touch the issue if elected.

Hey, a woman can have 1, 5, 10 abortions and it's her choice. 1st month, 5th month, 8th month, her body, her choice. Limits on late term abortion ? Scrap 'em. True 100% choice.

Let's not pretend that America 'decided' to legalize abortion.
