Conservative elected officials are lying about the stimulus.

Now conservative voters believe those lies, because they intensely dislike President Obama.

You forgot to add it is because they hate black people! /boggle

I guess you think you're smarter than all of them, please share with me your qualifications.
You're re-proving your ignorance with each post. Your reply is gibberish and not at all factual.

I laid out some basic economics and said the success of the stimulus was subjective. I guess I need to use smaller words.

Then why are there 4.3 MILLION fewer employed since January 2008? Why is the true unemployment rate around 15%?

Obamaites just can't seem to be caught in the same room as Reality.
Look up "subjective" Zippy.

Yes, of course. That is why unemployment, personal savings, incomes, the national debt, and annual deficits have improved!

When something fails, it is a failure if it does not achieve its objectives. Fantasy speculations of "what would have happened" is the refuge of a failure, who must rationalize a poor performance. Success speaks for itself and the "stimulus" needs a lot of explaining to find any positives from that spectacular waste of money.

100% wrong. One cannot accurately say what would have happened if the stimulus did not occur, or if it was doubled, because there are far too many variables to factor in.

Need we point out all the waste, the money that went overseas, and temporary jobs? Or how about the promises on where we were supposed to be economically at this point, according to Obama.

He failed. Period

Stimulus jobs are, by definition, temporary.

He kept the recession from becoming a depression. As for the projections of a politician? Please. you're an adult, I presume.

I don't blame them... You vote against it, but it is approved. Your constituents are on the hook for it financially, so why not attempt to obtain the benefits of the ill concieved plan for your district? Your constituents are going to have to pay for it, why shouldn't they reap some of the benefit. Incidently, Ryans requests were rejected...

You just agreed with me.

Of course one cannot predict what "would have happened". We must evaluate what HAS HAPPENED and determine whether it was a success or failure. The stimulus failed, unless, of course, one craves high unemployment, lower incomes, reduced savings, and higher debt. Then the stimulus did achieve those objectives quite well.

You are factually incorrect, unemployment improved with the stimulus. A stimulus is nothing more than a push toward recovery, it's not a cure.
