I like Lou Dobbs. He is often critical of Bush and his administration. He talks about issues that are not reported on local and national news outlets. He speaks up for unions, public education, and the middle class. While I might not agree with every thing he says. I always respect his point of view. I don't watch the show unless he's on it.

I like the fact that he'll go after anyone, democrat or republican, if they are doing something stupid (in his opinion).

I've been a life-long dem but now I am totally fed up with BOTH parties! I no longer care what party a person is, just what their ideas for our country are. Too many people blindly follow their party instead of thinking for themselves.

I like Lou Dobbs, but I think he's just a pawn thrown out to those of us who oppose the destruction of our country just so we can claim we have someone on our side. By giving voice to our opposition, the media can claim it's paying attention. I think the power behind the media is so smart that they'd willingly provide voice to figureheads that oppose them just to appease us. We know Lou speaks the truth, but what good is it if nothing gets done from it? I think the powers that be will assure that nothing EVER will. By allowing us to vent a little, energies we'd devote to REAL change are redirected to a dead end. This is one way to deflate the enemy (that's us, by the way). I think that's why the many websites that expose the real crimes are allowed to continue. If every media outlet proclaimed that "All's well, don't question the government", the overwhelming emotion of "We're being screwed, we've been lied to" would enable/empower all of us to effect real change. Lou Dobbs etc. puts a lid on that tempest quite effectively. Allow the opposition to speak, but cut them off at the knees. A winning strategy for totalitarians.

Lou is getting older, and he takes time off on a regular basis. It's no suprise it's taking him so long to return after surgery.

Yeah, like you would ever see someone like him railing against the establishment on Fox News! At least CNN has given him a show to talk about these incredibly important issues.

I guess in this situation, we should all be happy that CNN is "left wing". You don't seem hear too much on Faux News concerning the traitor politicians -particularly that creepy liar Bush - selling out our country... do you?

Well, they were supposed all to be honest, hardworking, and unbiased. I believe the judges are still poring over the matter. Otherwise, yes...none but a fine Christian upbringing for me...
