Nowhere in that list is there a tax increase that specifically targets the middle class.
Now try again, preferably without comparing me to a mass-murdering dictator. (You righties are such drama queens!)
You caught that also, guess old Hawk did not bother to read their own link. Ok folks the OP made the claim so the burden of proving that taxes will go up for anyone in the middle-class due to Obamacare is is their burden, I notice they never provided a link wth proof of their claim in the OP. Provide it or be labeled, once again, as the liars you are.
State vs federal mandate? Who cares? When every state has it...it's pretty much a national mandate!
It's only a mandate for those who drive.. Not a mandate on everyone... Being a state mandate leaves the ability to go to another state who doesn't have the same requirements and has less expensive rates. Car insurance is not a good comparison.. You should try again..
Are any of you willing to admit that Obamacare raises taxes on the middle class against his campaign promises? If so, what sort of legitimacy and validity do liberals/Obama/Democrats have in championing for the middle class when they've just raised taxes on them?
The tax/penalty (call it what you want, same difference) is only imposed on individuals depending on their health insurance status. Most humans are rational and wish to have health insurance, particularly in the middle class. Most will therefore not be subject to the tax/penalty. And it's not that hard to game your way out of it.
The major problem with the plan is not that it forces people to pay something, but that it (1) probably doesn't force them to pay enough, and (2) can't even be enforced by the IRS if you don't have a tax refund. This, along with potentially not enough funding shouldered by employers, can ultimately bring into question the solvency of the whole proposal.

I'm merely asking whether a requirement to purchase car insurance is a tax. A tax on drivers. I'm not comparing the two, nor did I in any post.
I have one to be injured, but it's not. You should try to find one....
Geez. I get more interesting insults from houseplants. *yawn*
