No it isn't - there can hardly be a more irresponsible or selfish act than destroying a human life because allowing it to live would be inconvenient.
If one cannot afford to raise a child or do not want a child then they should be abstinent. Sex should not take place outside marriage - the welfare of a child is the reason why - a marriage ideally provides the stability, environment for growth, and essential teachers that a child needs - this is also why marriage is defined as the union of a man and a woman - the child needs both male and female influences in order to develop normally.
Abortion s not the only option if people have made a mistake - adoption is a responsible choice.
But the left has thrown common sense out the window, so that they can perform social experiments , and behave irresponsibly - the welfare of children be damned.

Do you advocate trying to discourage practice of it by making it a felony to have sex unless it is with the intention of having a child and keeping it, along with making it a felony to indulge in sex outside of marriage?
