It sounds like a made up crime, maybe done to get sympathy, a little attention and some $$$. Or maybe she just let the child play with the Ipad and it wasn't hers. Buying an Ipad for a three year old does make zero sense. Giving one to a three year old doesn't make much sense, either. Again, the story sounds phony.
I'm just a cynic since a few cases of Christmas presents being stolen right before Christsmas turned out to be phony.
But society is crumbling and people are no longer being raised with what they call the social skills to know how to act with other people, so maybe its possible.
Its just an Ipad, its not like its really a necessity.
