What if there was a vote to prohibit treatment for testicular cancer? Wouldn't bother me to have it banned. Has no effect on my life.

The insurance boondoggle is a huge over reach, I agree.

If they can restrict one persons rights for one thing, its pefectly ok to do it to someone else. Their biology hasn't anything to do with it.

BTW, I'm for peoples right to choose, but I'm also for states rights. I would fight to keep abortion a free choice in my state on the grounds of "don't tell me what to do", and my state representation listens to me a whole lot more then the federal representatives do.

But you asked where medical decisions have been put up to a vote, and I'm giving you examples.

What the heck does that have to do with a womans choice to have an abortion? So forcing a Woman to bring a child into the world only to murder them in the most horrendous way is alright with you?

No ones forcing you to do anything. Either use safe sex practices in states where its outlawed, or get your ass in a car, bus, plane, or walk to a state where you can get it done.

Another straw dog.

We are talking about whether states should be writing abortion laws.

Gees, okay, let me show how specious your argument is. You are claiming that states should not write abortions laws because they will cause women to "bring a child into the world only to murder them in the most horrendous way."

The supreme court decide it was an individual right. As such, states may not infringe upon that right.
