And who says we aren't to blame? My god - just open the eyes.
So there is NO Mexican government here ? Their hands are tied ?
They cannot enforce their border security to keep the weapons from crossing ?

Why are you giving the Mexican government a free pass here and blaming their country's problems on the US ?

One of the participants, Arturo Malvido Conway, said he's traveling with the group because of his brother, Rafael, who was killed in Mexico City 14 years ago.
This problem didn't exist in the manner it does today 14 years ago.

What does his brother being killed in Mexico City have to do with border wars?

Mexico does not have to resort to drug & gun violence. They are adults in Mexico with a conscience.

Cartels fund their own operation.

Mexico's policy of letting itself become a Narco state is making its own self defeating policy to stop violence impossible to win.

In a November 8, 2011, court filing, the Chief of ATF’s Firearms Operations Division made a declaration that “in 2008, of the approximately 30,000 firearms that the Mexican Attorney General’s Office informed ATF that it had seized, only 7,200, or one quarter of those firearms, were submitted to ATF for tracing.†Based on these statistics, it’s clear that the total sample of guns submitted for tracing is not representative of all the guns found in Mexico, and there isn’t evidence that the other 75 percent of those guns were sold in a U.S. gun store.

Facts are Stubborn Things, U.S. Guns in Mexico

...well, so much for the 90% myth Holder and this administration keeps spouting,....and the lefties keep believing.
And once again someone cannot understand that it does not matter if he guns went through legal dealers or illegal, the FACT remains that the majority of guns do come from the US. Jeeez the far right sure does like to dance around an issue, typical rightie lack of logical thinking.

The Mexicans are "promoting peace" by calling the Border Patrol "murderers"? If the Mexicans didn't try to illegally cross the border, there would be no need for the Border Patrol.

Many of the guns ending up in cartel hands are military grade weaponry that comes from Mexico's own army. If the government were not so corrupt, their gun problem wouldn't be as great.

You overestimate the role of morals, conscience, etc.
People do crazy things under certain circumstances. Happens within the US as well...

Well that would solve the problem and makes sense and is the only Real solution I mean it would never work Ron Paul tried to do just that and when politcans start to make sense and adress the issues look what happend to them since the Massive Big pharma drug companies, and Lobby from the major Alochol and Firearm Companies would lose money since a Drug Cartel must buy alot of firearms and the in cash un marked bills and for the ATF having allowed .50Cal BMG to have been walked Across the Border that is pretty heavy firepower to fall into the drug Cartel hands.

I mean makes the 5.56 NATO or .223 AR-15 look like .9mm hand gun Round in comparsion and stray .50cal Rounds could easily come across the border and do some damage to homes and puts alot of people at Risk.

Who should tour Mexico?!

My point is that without the US Mexico would not have the problems it has.
It's like with child labor. It makes no sense to blame a country for child labor when at the same time you buy the products made by children from that country.
