looks like the court realized GOP tactics was all about suppressing the minority vote and elderly. Now we need this to happen in the other affected states.

These laws are headed for the US Supreme Court, it's the only way they will be settled.

For the states where the laws haven't been struck down, they need to temporarily block the laws until a final decision is made.

The GOP realizes the black vote is crucial for Obama's re-election. This is why republican controlled legislative around the country are reducing the amount of time and days people can early vote. This is why the GOP in Florida voted to reduce how many organizations can register people to vote but that was struck down as well.

This could turn out to be a domino effect. The federal courts could strike down the laws in all the states.

Isn't it funny how FOX News makes this a small headline that's hard to find on its website?

In Texas the minority is Hispanic, not so much Black.

2010 census:
White: 45%
Black: 4%
Hispanic: 38%
(then everyone else)

All headed for the SCOTUS where they will prevail to some degree.

I think republicans are also worried about Hispanics which is a group who supports democrats. Immigration is a hot button issue this year and Texas borders Mexico. There are also more minorities in Texas than whites. Traditionally Texas had been a red state but changing demographic could change that like it did in southern states like Virginia and North Carolina which have become purple states. The GOP can't afford to lose Texas. That would be like the democrats losing California.

Good to see the federal courts are doing their job stomping out racist moves in our states. I hope the latinos come out in full force to vote, regardless who they vote for.

Only liberals cheer the chance and opportunity for voter fraud.

Blacks only 4% of the population? That's not what you experience when you go to Houston, Dallas or east Texas.
