In order to understand that he really did mean, "You didn't build that! Somebody else made that happen," you must understand who Barack Obama is. He is a collectivist. He is a Marxist/Socialist, who has throughout his entire life been taught that America was "colonialist," and an exploiter.
While many Americans have already figured this out, too many still blindly support Obama, a man with no love for this country, and whose purpose it is to destroy it.
These two articles make the case crystal clear:
The "fundamental transformation" Obama seeks to impose on America has many practical manifestations, but all his sundry means relate to one basic end. This is the permanent "transformation" of a nation grounded in the principle of individual self-ownership (the philosophical foundation of property rights) into a nation grounded in the principle that everything you have is merely on loan to you from the great gods of collectivism -- "society," "history," and "government."
My research informs me that Barack Obama is a committed radical Marxist -- a socialist revolutionary. This is not kook talk. His entire history is one of early and continued exposure to communist ideology, and of his acceptance and championing of the socialist model.
No one believes that his work as a community organizer in Chicago was for any democratic or traditional American cause, or for charity. Obama has always advocated socialist revolution with the goal of realizing the communist ideal: a government run by an enlightened political elite in which the state owns all property and the means of production, and the people conform to the requirements of communal life: from each according to his ability, and to each according to his need. Obama has never been an advocate of rule by the consent of the governed, the capitalist economic system, and limited constitutional government. He has repeatedly demonstrated his contempt for constitutional republican government, the separation of powers, and the rule of law.

Do republicans always quote mine things out of context, or do they just have reading comprehension problems? I'm just curious, because to me it seems dishonest....Here is what Obama said...
"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."
Perhaps he should have said "Somebody else helped make that happen.", but would that have made any difference?
American Stinker? The known racist publication and you want to use them as a source?
The RWNJ will go to anyone who supports their bias, even when it's known racist sites.
