I don't see it; neither nation nor any reference to a collectivist body appears in those verses.

There are plenty of verses that speak of obligation to dependents.

But no verses that grant that a dependant may command those upon whom he depends, as is the case in a country that allows its financially unproductive to vote.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

But it doesn't say to coerce another to visit, which is what the welfare state demands.

Given that the wealthy get a lower rate because they derive so much from stocks, I'd be happy if they were taxed at the same rate as the middle class.

Basically:

The owners of production (the rich) benefit far more so from things such as rail roads, interstates, etc than the worker bee paid a subsistence wage who rarely uses said services.
