The value of the latino vote is growing quickly. They'll soon be a very large portion of the population.

As I said...I highly doubt he got THAT vote. That particular vote...SINGULAR...last time.

Not one politician can get elected w/out the "white" vote...or "black" vote...or "hispanic" vote.
Such that America is truly a melting pot, and that one "group" can not elect/nominate/dominate the political "landscape" as in years before.

But nice to see the knee-jerk reaction to what was perceived to have been said.

What you saw there was special interests clamoring and lining up for handouts from Obama if he's re-elected.

Yes, and that is mostly because of illegal immigration. The question still remains as to why our politicans are willing to thumb their noses at our immigration laws for them and why Latinos don't want our immigration laws enforced. Are they special?

Wrong! No candidate can get elected by a minority group without the white vote also. White Americans are still the majority in this country with the highest turnouts at the polls. Obama getting over 40% of the white vote last time around was very significant.

Varies greatly by state....which with the electoral college can be HUGE.

For example, in 2000 Bush got about 60% of the cuban vote because they were still pi$$ed over Elian gonzalez.
That's about 100,000-200,000 extra votes for Bush and but for that.....Gore is president and they don't even have a vote challenge fight.

P.S. California is about 40% hispanic.

But not mine. I wrote in Hillary Clinton. This time, I'll vote Romney, just to get Obama out.
