#, How do you plan to make education affordable? If making others pay for it its not affordable, just affordable to you.
You miss the point. The issue is..."Equal Pay for Equal Work". No one is telling an employer how to set their pay schedule. If a woman does the equal share and quality of work, she should not be paid less based on gender. Get it now?

I agree that talk is cheap, so provide links to back up your statements. Valid links please.

Again, equal pay for equal work was actually addressed by the Equal Pay Act of 1963, and Title VII of 1964.

Thank you for playing.

As a thinking and working woman, I see absolutely nothing--nothing--that the Republicans propose that is favorable to working women..instead I see their misplaced desire to control my body and my destiny in regard to birth control.

I don't see how any working, thinking woman could vote for Romney/Ryan. They frighten me. And surely, they don't have my best interests at heart.

Guess I'm a very selfish person--unlike those civic- minded, generous, wealthy individuals who want even more tax cuts for themselves--just like Romney who paid 13% in taxes--much less than most poor/middle class folks. Why did he pay so little? Because he can afford a CPA, can get every loop hole, and can shelter his money off-shore in Swiss Bank accounts and the Cayman Islands.

Get real. Gimme a break.

Romney paying 13% in taxes probably paid more in taxes than you even made. So, while the PERCENTAGE he paid is less, the AMOUNT in totality he paid is probably more than you, I and at least 15 or more people here on CD combined even made! Wanna whine about something, how about the fact that MATH skills are lacking and that some sheeple believe everything their told.

Next issue, more tax cuts for rich people. What a hoot, that's what I would expect from someone with limited math skills.

If I get a 5% tax break, and I make 40K, that's a 2K tax break.
If someone gets a 2% tax break, and makes 500K, their break is 10K, and yes, it's 5 times the amount of money than I got, but their tax break is a lower percentage. However, since the money they get back is 5 times more than I get, I guess saying they got a larger RETURN is accurate, but saying they got a larger break is just plain stupid.

If you want more of your pay taxed, you'll vote for Obama. If you want your children's future sold to the Chinese, you'll vote for Obama.

As far as taxes, we need to reform the tax code so that EVERYONE pays the same PERCENTAGE of each dollar into our tax system. 1st, we need to get the governmental spending under control. The US Gov't. spends TOO MUCH MONEY on mostly ridiculous programs that don't run efficiently and waste too much of our money. A National Sales Tax would do the job nicely.....if you don't want to pay tax, don't buy anything! Simple!

As far as "affordable" health care....where is it? Our insurance keeps rising and rising....it will get to the point that we will have to choose whether to pay the house payment, or the insurance.....if we stop buying our own insurance, are you (as a taxpayer) willing to pay for my healthcare? Because, that's what's going to happen.

The government cannot and should not give everyone everything. It's there to keep our country safe from intruders and to allow us the FREEDOM to do the things that will improve our own lives, without counting on a handout from those who ARE working their butts off to improve themselves.

Those with personal responsibility and a love of freedom will vote for Romney.

My math is fine. Most middle class/poor people will pay more. Read this:

Households with incomes between $100,000 and $200,000 would see their taxes increase by $2,681, the Joint Economic Committee said.

And the MORE people make, the more they will be taxed, even the rich.
