I will now apologise for what turned out to be incorrect information, on my part.

I have removed the original post.

As was pointed out..........this was a part of a Congressional bill that was voted down.

Again, my apologies.

Jim B

Toronto.

We already collect it from everyone else (not something we like to publish out of respect for others' privacy) and in fact, Canada was the last one, so be happy you got by for as long as you did and that we don't make it retroactive to the War of 1812 that some here wanted to do.

If I am not mistaken this was on the Obama Administrations FY2012 Budget which was voted down by the Senate. The entry fee was removed from the next draft.

There is also no sign of the entry fee on the FY2013 Budget as far as I have seen either. So I am not sure what your issue is.....do you know something we dont?

That's what you guys get for piggy-backing off of American might and then thumbing your nose at us every time you feel superior to us. Pay up. Being born next to the greatest nation on the planet isn't free.

So, Americans have to pay more than that to get back into America, their OWN country from Canada, why not charge the Canadians to enter as well and, they don't give you change either if you do not have EXACT change.

You sure might be piggys but we sure don't ride on your backs. I really hate comments like the one you made. Canada is a sovereign nation. Our success is of our own making dispite living next to the USA. If your comment made one little iota of sence then Mexico should be a great country also.

Canada has no need to "Thumb it's nose" at the USA. You do quite a good enough job of that yourselves!

I might agree with you if Ron Paul had been elected his first go-around.

Many of you in here should spend a couple hours learning what our monetary system is all about, what we've really become, and why.

Then move on to lesson two:
