You are 100% correct about the ongoing stupidity of the "lighter skinned" model of beauty....and again I think it's important to note whom is still pushing it through the media.
I'd just like to point out that lighter skinned people (blacks included) photograph better than people with really dark skin tones. And the same goes for bodyweight. Skinny people photograph better than overweight people. And a common phrase for decades is that "the camera adds 15 lbs". And so much of the media we encounter are pieces captured by a camera lens.
And I've posted this story before on C-D, but here it is again. I worked with a young man from Sudan, His skin was extremely dark toned. And he loved to show off his drivers license, because you could barely make out his features in his picture. He'd just laugh about it.
So in fashion, film and advertising, it's easier to take pictures, film and videos of good looking people when they are on the skinny side and also, in the case of black people, when they are lighter skinned. Also in fashion shots and runway work, the fabric does drape better on a skinny person. That skinny model is just a mannequin to showcase the clothing. Skinny models and store mannequins are easier to work with because every garment can fit on them. If it's way too big, then the extra fabric can be pinned in back. Lighter skin can always be made darker with layers of foundation makeup. And colours are easier to apply on lighter skin.
Then it becomes a vicious cycle when the public starts associating beauty=skinny and light skinned.

Wynternight may be trying to take some sort of higher road, I don't know for sure, but I'm not. Now I don't really care that much either way, but there definitely are people on this forum that have the type of thinking Wynternight is talking about. For you to imply there isn't a single poster on this forum that does is factually wrong. I guess I just don't like to see condescending, sarcastic self-righteousness coming from someone in repeated posts when they are in reality not right. It only took a single search to find them.

Wynternight is not taking the high road, they would not know the high road if they saw it. I asked them a simple question and they could not prove their claim. Guess what, neither did you, all the links were to the same poster and that poster was not calling any particular a racist they were makig the comment that many here simply hate the man because he is black, you know that is true, I know it is true and the readers here know that. W. stated that all lefties use the race card and do so all the time and the best you could come up with is one poster that was not calling them a racist. I see you at least tried but you were doomed in your mission to defend them from the beginning since W's tatement was False and remains False. If you can provided a dozen or so Different lefties calling people racists without the other person having made any racist comments we can discuss it further but until then you get a fail.
Ahhh, that did not take long, some here never disappoint. So, YOU claim people call others racist here all the time just for disagreeing with the President. So it should not be hard at all for you to link us all to say, half dozen posts where someone called you a racist with you ever making a racist comment to deserve it, if you cannot locate any for yourself you can, by all means, show where it has happened to others, should not take you long at all to produce your "evidence".
Now I will remind you that if you cannot come up with some good examples I will and others will not label you a racist for not being able to do it, but you may very well end up losing any credibility here along with being labeled as a Liar. We will wit to see how long it takes, 24 hours should be plenty of time. Better get to work

You are right, the first 5 were the same poster, but a couple of them contained quotes/responses from another like minded person - so that is two. There are 2 more in the bottom links, so that is four. What happened? you only clicked on the first 5? You asked for links. When they are provided, don't you even click on them before shooting them down? It seems like you may have already made up your mind before even bothering to read and analyze the responses. That isn't the most intellectually honest way to behave.

I quoted you directly saying you want 6 examples - you were given more. Then in another direct quote you say the examples I gave you were all written by one person - there were 4 unique posters.

One More Time: Wynternight said that all lefties called other posters, (including themself), here racists because they simply disagreed with his policies and that they do so all the time. I asked them to show where they or other posters had been called a racist because of what they said about is policies, W. refused to even try. You jumped in with links to people stating that there are racists here that simply hate the President because he is black, but not calling some particular poster themself a racist, that, if you do not know does not validate W's claim, meaning you failed and simply refuse to understand it or are not capable of understanding the basic question. Yes, that is my last word to you on the subject since we both know you could not, and did not, prove something that is not true, do not feel bad, no other rightie has ever been able to do when put on the spot to provided the proof. If you had been half as smart as you seem to believe yourself to be you would have paid closer attention to the claim made before jumping in and ending up looking foolish in the process.
