83% of women who have abortions are single and as conservatives are so oft to point out, single mothers are more likely to live in poverty and be dependent upon social welfare programs... it would appear that these women are being pretty personally responsible.

Sorry the Responsibility happens before the unwanted pregnancy. I'm not saying it will ever go away but using abortion as birth control to kill millions of unwanted babies is not Personal Responsibility.

How about anti-freedom?

They want to deny the woman the freedom to determine what is right for her, and they want to deny her the freedom to choose what to do with her own body.

I'm sorry too because Hindsight is a *****.

Now when you Pro-Prebirthers® decide that you want to be Pro-Life® and as such are willing to do whatever it takes to find suitable homes, or provide those post birth children with all the financial and parental support - like on-site day-care - sufficient parental leave, and acceptance of women as mothers, students and professionals... drop me a line. Because if you've known anyone who has had an abortion, you'd know that they didn't considering just another form of birth control.

Because we encounter it every day.

Mostly because people who identify themselves as "pro-life" usually support war, support reducing funding for programs that benefit poor, "born" children and also support the death penalty.

Whether consciously or not, the reason many of you are so fervently anti-abortion is because you recognize that as Christians, you will be judged by how you treat the least among us. Since you're uncomfortable and hostile to extending that sort of love to the poor, who you typically view as lazy, you need to redefine who is the least among us. Who better than "babies?" It's perfect. Now you're protecting the least and you don't have to defend those filthy, lazy poor folks. Of course, when many of those babies grow older, they're precisely the people you demonize and fear. But you did love them oh-so-much, way back when.

Something like "Pro-Prebirth©" because it seems that about the only part of life that they seem to give a damn about is that period between conception and birth.
I would call them anti-choicers. In my book you are either pro-choice or anti-choice... with the unique exception of Mitt Romney who is multiple-choice.

What about the rights of the unborn child to get the chance at life the woman has already screwed up? What about the unborn childs freedom? What about the unborn childs body? What has the unborn child done to anyone to deserve the death penalty?

^^Wow. Post of the day, right here.

I would have a lot more respect for pro-life people if they actually were "pro-life" and not just "anti-abortion" As it is, I see most of them as hypocrites.

For the record, I too am pro-life, but unlike most, I believe that life also has value outside the womb.
