There'd be a lot less hypocrisy, for sure. I've gradually become convinced that The Christian right (Not all evangelical Christians, for sure) are the modern day pharisees, hypocrites, self righteous, and an embarassment to my Christian faith. I think this quote from Jesus sums it up quite well:

Empty. Black people are mostly Christians. Hispanics are mostly Christian. White people are mostly Christian. I think God would be more impressed if the GOP actually supported helping the poor instead of falsely acknowledging him in their platform, Roy. And i don't think he really cares if the dems choose NOT to mention him in the platform. Like Pharisees, the right wing christians only care about the external appearance and not about the heart. Whitewashed tombs, I believe Jesus called them.

Empty is right. Right around 90% of the US population believes in a divine being of one form or another. Since conservatives and liberals are fairly evenly split, that means even if 100% of the conservatives believed in a divine being (which is not the case), then at least 80% of the liberals would also have to believe in a divine being. We would go from a nation of around 312 million to a nation of just 31 million, which was the population of the US in 1861 when the Civil War began.
90% of Americans are not part of the Christian extremist side (Fundamentalists/Evangelicals), which is what the topic is discussing. The OP says nothing about removing all Theists.
The country would be poor because everyone would expect, and the government would want to, pay for everything.
The military would be reduced to a VERY small number and you would all be screwed.

Neither wealth or military dominance are in line with Christianity. So if your claim that Christianity actually allows those things to prosper is true, that indicates your version of Christianity is false.
