If the only people who bought anything were the super rich, the economy would collapse. If the only people who worked were the super rich, factories would shut down.

We, the middle class are the true job creators

Do you have anything to convince a skeptic like me? any solid numbers and an explanation why you came to your conclusion?

You are not supposes to stand there and wait for it to splash onto your head either. Like a salmon, swim upstream to prosperity.

Praising the middle class is now liberal? Says a lot about how you view conservatives.

Middle class employees now create the jobs they seek to fill? Then why are so many of the middle class who are out of work not out there creating the jobs they so desperately need and want? Are they just too lazy to get off their butts and go out there and create a job for themselves?

Convoluted thinking at its most convoluted.

Yes, consumers have the biggest impact on the economy. That is why our economy is so weak. Average family income has dropped under Obama $4,000 a year. Gas and food prices have soared. Middle class jobs have not been created by the super rich because of Obama's policies ie Obamacare and other onerous regulations. 23 million consumers unemployed or underemployed are not spending anything except food stamps.

They always have.

Because they utilize debt to create those jobs, just like the 'super rich job creators' who needed all those bailouts whenever the credit markets froze. (i don't know if you remember)

and right now the middle class is saturated with debt with houses and student loans, so there is stunted investment from the middle class.

No, they just don't earn enough to pay off their consumer debts.

Why pay the famous chef to come cook at your restaurant?
The diners are the ones who create and run the business.
Give 'em the food for free.
