'As a white person for several decades' - me too, I recently became black per the one drop rule so things be a changin.
I once had a black girlfriend, back in high school. Was the first year blacks were allowed in the white boy's school My mom told me to break it off cause people were talking.
Your post was funny, but I don't think that many will get it.
Obviously humor is a matter of taste. In an enviroment where even hinting at stereotypes gets a race card thrown I myself saw little humor.
If I started a thread what black people like and list a bunch of baseless stereotypes I could reasonably assume that I might get banned.
Some white people believe that politics does not change the natural sciences. I believe many people of color believe the same.
My loves are:
Filipinas (the wife #1 of course)
Dogs (Spencer and Cookie 1A and 1B)
The Saint Louis Cardinals
A family owned Mexican Restaurant with cheap margaritas
Football
Trucks
A spring fed river.
