WHY? What's to be said that hasn't already been said? Why should he keep someone who is clearly campaigning for Romney in the loop?

So no, he doesn't need to "drop everything" to meet Netanyahu. He already has, and for much less reason.

This one genuinely puzzles me. Israel is facing an enemy twenty times her size, who has constantly sponsored terrorist attacks against her, killing her people randomly, and has frequently threatened to "wipe her off the map", and who is now on the verge of developing nuclear weapons to do it, and the Prime Min now wants to meet with her best ally... and the ally's President says No, for no apparent reason?

Why?
I think he has an appointment to play golf that day. Hey, maybe Netanyahu can play golf with him, I'm sure Obama would enjoy that!

I don't think Iran would be foolish enough to nuke Israel, for one thing, they are in to close of a proximity to Israel and and nuking of Israel would with out a doubt do damage to their neighbors, who are allies with Iran.

Link?

Despite several requests to different posters I've yet to see a credible source with Ahmanutjob threatening to "wipe her off the map"

There are good sources, but might not meet the biased liberal criteria for "credibility".

NOT leading us into another costly, inane war of choice IS leadership.

Netanyahu's crying WOLF!, he tells us in 6-7 months Iran will be 90% there, possibly, maybe, could be.

So far, Obama's not buying.

BRAVO!
It was 90% in January. They must be at 115% by now.

Americans that have died or came home disabled - physically and mentally, fighting these "wars" in other countries have fought and died for the US, believing they were fighting the war on terrorism and protecting the US, creating an "ally" in the process. How can we ask America to declare a war on behalf of another country and ask Americans to fight and die to satsify the demands of another country? If it were to come down to American bending to Israel's demand, then let it be a volunteer army, without penalty who don't want to be part of Israel's war. Let Americans make the decision if they want to die for Israel.

The majority of Americans want America to get out of these "wars". Americans want to stop seeing every day the names of our military personnel and civilians being killed in these so-called "wars". We've been fighting this War on Terrorism for 10 years now. How are we doing with that? When the US withdraws from these countries they end up leaving it to new corrupt leaders who can end up being worse than the one he replaced, or we support a new "regime" that is no better than the one that was encouraged to step down. Worse yet is our support in Afghanistan of Karzai, one of the worst, corrupt, traitorous individual, who was hand picked by the US. He plays both sides of the coin and the US knows it. He tells the US what it wants to hear, collects his payment and then collects his payments from the Taliban. No different than Pakistan. Yet the US government continues to support him and sacrificing our military personnel in the process because we are in a "War on Terror".

It's truly mad to continue with these unjust wars.

I thought the US was Israel's ONLY ally per se. To say "her best ally" would imply there are several. If that's the case, let Bibi take up a meeting with one of Israel's lesser best allies. Doesn't he realize that the US is busy fighting wars that it started in other countries? Sheeesh. Or does Bibi think that we will drop everything and pluck our military out of these countries and redirect them to Israel? Just how many Americans have to die for the sake of other countries???

Hey, that comes with the "phoning it in" leadership style of this president.

Nah, it comes with the refusal to be Israel's puppet style of this President.
