should a Christian be allowed to run the country - someone like Romney for example.
If he became a righteous potus then surely many laws would have to be changed.
for instance, we would have to legalize stoning, slavery, sexual repression and subjugation of women.
This is what the Bible dictates.
The Bible also tells us that all leaders are put in power by God - even Hitler.
so would this be good for the nation, and should it be allowed?

Hmmm, good question, how would they handle this down in New Zealand, would they allow a muslim to run the country?
Why should we believe an ancient book written by stoned out religious fanatics says?
America has had christians, catholics, agnostics and baptists as presidents, did America change it's laws to that of it's presidents?
----> NO <----
Ludicrous thread from down under where it seems there is no common sense.....

Silly post. Maybe if we get a Muslim that goes along with Sharia Law we may have that. Mormons don't do that nor do Christians.

What a crazy thread, you should take it to Religion.
Since Obama is God and supposedly a Christian, maybe we should get his opinion.

Is there some kind of "most idiotic thread" contest going in the P&OC forum or something?

surely Romney would be influenced by his beliefs, as would any pious Christian.
thus this will lead to repression and limitations on freedom.
why should we have a leader who bases his morality on a book that may or may not be true?

Also notice the complete lack of British spellings in their posts.
It's a troll thread, imo.
