Wow...
I agree that Obama's Crony Capitalism and War Mongering are disgusting too, but that doesn't change the fact that government run schools are a disaster.

Just for the record, there are three groups involved in the education of a child: The Child, The teacher, and The Parent. If One of these is not invested, then the whole thing fails.

Private and parochial and home school teachers seem to get the job done. And for far less pay.

A good solution would be to give vouchers and those parents who want an education for their kids could get them one, those who want to see 15% of their 4th graders reading could stick with the public school.

I don't care what t-shirts they buy or what music they listen to. Just don't teach my kids that Che is a role model.

Why do you think right wingers are anti teacher? Nobody is anti teacher. That's like being anti motherhood.

You support big government nanny state giving out checks to people to spend at private schools, I don't. Want to send your kid to a private school, pay for it yourself, I do. We get no handouts in my family.

this is what most people do not understand...it is like a three legged stool, which by the way if you know any geometry at all, is the most stable structure there is. If one leg is broken it becomes the LEAST stable structure there is.
