I would like to think most followers of most religions are peaceful, do not want wars and bloodshed, and are willing to give the other guy the benefit of the doubt. I also think they should be pointing the finger at injustice, especially when done in its name.

Christians criticize and even joke about the radicals and idiots in their group.

Why are not the good Muslims coming on CD and other venues and criticizing these rioting nutjobs?

Here's the untold truth.

There are two types of muslims.

The unintelligent psychonuts with an IQ under 80 who go bat$hit crazy over cartoons and movies and use any excuse to burn a US Flag, and the quiet moderates with an IQ over 100 who sit back patiently and watch the fallout.

The moderates say nothing (or close to nothing in opposition) because they believe exactly the same ideology as the psychos, but the psychos do the dirty work. The moderates use the psychos as footsoldiers and stand by appeasing the west by using taqiyya to put forth a "sad sorry face" and lie to all of us.

When it really comes down to it, all of them are in bed together.

Could a quiet moderate stand up to the psychonuts? NO. At the risk of being called an infidel, they stay quiet.

But don't be fooled by the moderates, their religion allows them the freedom to lie within the law of Islam without retribution from Allah. Taqiyya & Kitman.

Don't be fooled by their signs of "we loved the ambassador he was our friend", don't be fooled by the "I'm with stupid ------>" signs.

Quote:
Kitman is the act of paying lip service to authority while holding personal opposition. It is a sort of political camouflage, for the purpose of survival, in circumstances where open opposition would result in persecution.

The Egyptian president told them to go to the US consulate to protest over that stupid movie, then he turns a different face to us and says, "we are deeply saddened by what has happened" and the blind daisy throwing libs just eat that crap up.

Well, duh, there's already a thread showing that they are.
Do you consider these people terrorists?

You want them to call you on the phone and tell you to watch/listen to something?
Geez.

No.

Those pictures are lies. Taqiyya.

Taqiyya is a form of religious dissimulation,[1] or a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts while they are at risk of significant persecution.

They made 5 signs and passed them around to different people to hold and took 12 sets of pictures.

Give me a break.

That's all complete bullcrap.

What group do you belong to? The middle class? White people? Poor people? American Legion? Mason? Suburanite? American?

Guess what...several people that belong to any number of groups that you belong to did something idiotic today. Is it your responsibility to disavow every stupid thing they do?

Just be glad that there are peaceful Muslims, and leave it at that. It's not their responsibility to appease you or calm your fears. Nor is it their job to disavow other Muslims just because you want them to. You've got a mouth...do it yourself. Don't worry about what the next man is doing.

There is no such thing as a peaceful muslim.

There are only those who scream like maniacs, and those who sit by and watch them scream like maniacs and do nothing.

They all believe the same thing.

It doesn't make all that much sense that violent Muslims hell-bent on killing us would be out there holding pro-American signs. Why would they bother with that? What purpose would that serve?

also, Taqiyya is a notion in Islam that per tradition comes into play when a believer's life is at risk if he reveals his/her religion. It grew out of long-standing regional/sectarian conflicts. That is obviously not the case here. How are their lives at risk from us? If anything, one would figure their lives would be much more at risk from their local militants by demonstrating any favorability toward America. So Taqiyya isn't really something that makes a lot of sense here.

The most plausible scenarios are that either those protests did happen, or else they never happened at all and those signs were photoshopped in by some media outlet with a biased reporting angle. In general, those militants who hate America do not seek to pretend to "fool" us into making us think that they like us through a carefully constructed photo op.

It just sounds like you read something on a blog once but then failed to logically think this situation through. Just repeating one word does not abdicate the requirement that you think critically about this.
