You people so desperately try to excuse your president through pointing your fingers either to blame or like a 2 year old saying, well so and so did it.

News Flash, Obama is president today. If Obama can't own it and do something about it then GET OUT like he "promised.

The sad part is none of you are getting it. We've been over there since our CIA helped over throw the democratically elected government in Iran in 1953. It's time we left. All we do is incite hatred when we occupy their land. Sanctions responsible for the deaths of 500k Iraqi children and we wonder why terrorists attack us?
By leaving you kill the reason they want to be terrorists. Only then will the killing of American stop. We should bring our troops home and protect our borders like the Constitution says. We protect other countries borders better than we protect ours and we sacrifice the lives of our sons and daughters in doing so. Our military personnel deserve better. They belong on American soil.

Just what does this blather have to do with the OP?

i applaud this post-because this is what it all boils down to.

we have either naive or incompetent leadership (we didn't know this could happen on the freaking anniversary of 9-11-why? because you are being nice to them?)

our citizens are AT RISK in these other countries. clearly, the "arab spring" was no spring at all-but just another power struggle in a long line of corrupt power struggles, and "democracy" isn't flourishing at all.

it's time we left and took our citizens with us.

they have already looted the embassy so no point in wasting more money rebuilding.

sometimes you have to do what is right, regardless of how it appears to anyone else.

is there anyone out there who would say that these american deaths have been worth it? are we safer now? are we winning anything? or are we just broke and lost?

If you were an American you'd know that American troops belong wherever the American government want them to be....

If you were an American you'd also know American combat troops cannot be used as the Border Patrol....

Hmmm. Wait a minute that must have been Obama's fault as well.

1983 United States embassy bombing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Apparently the cause was a recently released video that very few americans had heard of and even fewer have seen. However, due to those provocations in '83 and '12, Obama has surrendered to the Muslim Brotherhood and asked YouTube to review and remove said video.

He's their beetch boy now.

american troops can be used anywhere they are needed, and they are needed at home more than in other countries that hate us.

i bet most americans would rather defend OUR border than someone else's border.

if you were an american, you would want to protect your fellow citizens from incompetent decisionmaking and wasteful spending.

It's also not AN EMBESSY; it's four or five.

This is also a direct result of allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to take control. They are banned in Russia as terrorists. If we thought Al Queda and Hezbollah are bad, these guys will be exponentially worse.

You can thank Obama for his betrayal of our friendly puppets in the region, under the guise of supporting freedom and democracy. Doesn't anyone find the timing of the Arab Spring just a bit shady? I smell CIA all over this. Where the CIA is involved, the President is in the driver's seat.

They will NEVER see democracy in the middle east save Israel. The Muslim brotherhood has no intention of allowing their people to be free, and when the Imams control all of it, we will be forced to go to war in support of Israel.

Well said, I feel no safer than before. These people do not want our help so why do we continue to force it on them. They hate America what more proof do you want. We try to help people who do not want our help yet fail the people who help us and who want our help. The pakistani Dr who helped us remains in jail and Obama does nothing. Israel is our friend yet Obama has no time to meet with the leader personally. Don't you ever doubt, they want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and then "death to America". Make no mistake they have every intention of attacking us within our own borders again.

Which I am.... that's why even though I'm not too thrilled about Romney I am voting for him to get the most incompetent decision maker in American history out of office....
