All the liberal media talks about is how the Republicans have blocked "everything". It's funny that they never mention all that the Democrats have blocked.

No, but the Senate is supposed to then take up the bill and if they disagree with something they change it, vote on it and send it back to the House.
Reid has not considered or brought anything up for a vote.
The Republicans created a gridlock for obvious political reasons. If Obama gets a second term, would they work with him in that he, Obama, has nothing to gain politically since he bagged his re-election bid?

Every item should be brought up for a vote. It's not up to any one person to decide what gets voted on and what doesn't.

Obama has ran an anti-Romney campaign. Not one based on himself or anything positive. His approval is lower than GW Bush's and will likely not be any higher even if reelected. IF he wins,it will not be an endorsement of his policies,as they are not running on them.
In addition,most of the GOP senators will be from red states. They will be under no obligation to negotiate with what is almost sure to be a very unpopular potus. If the GOP regains the senate their will be more investigations that have been covered up by Harry Reid.

Unless the Republican's want to learn to compromise and work with the POTUS and the democrats in congress they are contributing to their own doom in 2016 and beyond. The better tactic would be to work towards compromise and get the nation back on track, which is what the majority of Americans want. Partisan politics might be a fun and game on capitol hill, but it doesn't play well with middle class America, nor will it in the next 4 years. There's a reason Congress has a 13% approval rating, which is a high in recent years.

However, the Republicans will continue to thwart progress. Republican vindictiveness far outweighs their motivation to work toward the betterment of the People of the USA.
Still, I will settle for another 4-year stalemate over a Romney regime and movement which is in the wrong direction. Change takes time.

Yes it's always the Republicans who are expected to compromise. To a democrat compromise means "you do it my way". Everyone in the country saw how democrats compromise when they had full control of the government, completely excluding the republicans, and we saw how they "compromised" when they lost the house by completely refusing to consider or vote on any republican bill in the Senate.
Democrats are the ones who need to learn to compromise. You would think they would have learned that lesson after the 2010 election, but clearly some are slow learners.

Typically extreme view from the left, as usual. You clearly have no idea how Congress is supposed to work. One house passes a bill, the other modifies it votes on it and sends it back to the first house, who then modifies it votes on it and sends it back, repeat until they reach a bill both houses agree on. The democrat controlled senate has completely refused to participate - that's what you call obstruction when a republican does it.
I'm sure you just believe that there have been zero bills from the House since 2010 worth even voting on in the senate, funny how that lines up with when the democrats lost control of the house. You call that partisanship when it's done by a republican.
