There's something seriously wrong with you. Relax already. Geez.
Seriously! Not to mention, it had absolutely no relevance to my points. Judging by the barrage of wildly off-topic replies I received, I'll take that as a compliment - since we all know (and even the conservatives say this), people resort to personal attacks & deflections when they have no other reply. Bazinga.
What`s that got to do with anything? I`m not against women using birth control. If you need it to help with your problems, then take it.
And if you have medical insurance, it should be covered - right? That's what the whole Sandra Fluke debate was about, despite the Republicans' desperate attempt to spin it into "promiscuous women wanting to have oodles of sex on the taxpayers' dime."
Nobody pays for my "choices" (although preventing pregnancies/STDs & treating medical conditions hardly qualify as such) but me, so you can jump off that accusing wagon now.
I`m not accusing you personally of anything so you can jump off that defensive wagon right now. I`m using the word "you" in a general sense in a public debate forum.
Odd, where is "Gurbie" on this thread. S/he seems to care about the invented GOP "War on Women," but when confronted with an actual sexual prediator s/he doesn't seem to mind so long as the culprit has that shiny (D) after its name.
To date, legislators have introduced 916 measures related to reproductive health and rights in the 49 legislatures that have convened their regular sessions. (Louisiana’s legislature will not convene until late April.) By the end of March, seven states had enacted 15 new laws on these issues, including provisions that:
Sadly, more at link.
Consensual foreplay with two adults does not equal a war on women.
The laws against women proposed in the link I provided, do.
Also, this is a duplicate thread from 2 weeks ago, and 15 years ago or something like that.
My suggestion? The right needs to go out and breath some fresh air and get their heads together. The dust from the issues you keep dragging up that have nothing to do with today or reality (birthers) is starting to come through my laptop screen and making a mess.
You mean useless dust from old stuff like abortion? Or that really old-fashioned concept of paying for your own pills to keep yourself from getting pregnant when you have neither will power nor sense to keep you legs together? That personal responsibility thing which liberals don't seem to recognize?
That kind of dust from old issues? You've made your own mess. Now you get to live in it.

I, and many other women, take birth control to regulate heavy periods that can cause anemia and to prevent severe cramps that can keep us on the floor in pain for a few days out of the month.
I took birth control for 3 years before I had sex for the first time.
Why is viagra covered? You don't need boner pills but nobody is complaining about that being completely covered.
Another uneducated post Maybe you should read up on hormones and birth control and how they help women with female problems.
Maybe you should read up on pretty much every pharmacy's $4/mo pill pricing and start saving back 15¢/day to buy your own damned pills.

See above.
