To the millions of Americans out of work or struggling to pay their bills... does it irritate you when Obama, Clinton, or any of the Dems makes a speech about how things are getting better and the economy is growing again? These guys just don't get it. When unemployment drops from 8.3% to 8.1% because people are getting frustrated and leaving the workforce, that's really not a cause for celebration.

I'd much rather Obama come out and apologize for not getting it done the 1st term, and tell us what he plans on doing differently moving forward.

No, doesn't make me angry. In many ways the economy has gotten better.

Also it depends on what you are basing your definition of "the economy" on. If you are just focusing on jobs, then I can understand anger at the rate being higher than it was in 2008, but to say the economy hasn't gotten any better since then, would be misleading.

Also, I realize that politicians will spin numbers to reflect what they want to say. I don't get mad at much of anything that any politician says.

Without President Obama's stimulus policies I believe we would have fallen into a downward economic spiral equal to or worse than the Great Depression of the 1930's. That is what electing McCain/Palin would have guarenteed.

If we elect Romney we can expect this slow recovery to end and our slide to economic oblivion to proceed as planned by the Republicans. The result will be a nation of princes and peseants with an impoverished working/middle class and rampant poverty without any government assistance.
