Obama failed again on the international stage? No problem, the Democrats and their lapdogs in the media will simply rev up the phony "GOP War on Women" meme again and run with that.

When a Presidential candidate says he will do the wrong thing, so he can do the "fair" thing, that should be national news too. Guess what? It wasnt.

When a President is on tape spewing marxist/socialist like beliefs, that should be big news too. Guess what? It wasnt.

No matter what, to say what Romney said, is bigger than a terror attack and the issues facing this country, is absolutely crazy and garbage. More people care about why we let our people get murdered and the issues facing this country than a tape which was mostly true, said by a candidate months ago.

Not one of you, not even the press, could defend their actions. Especially recently given what has happened, and the current state of the country. To even try to defend it, you might as well acknowledge your bias and your agenda out weighs logic and the right thing.

I believe that the press will skewer anyone with foot-in-mouth disease. While you may not like some of the beliefs Obama has or the things he says, they haven't had the galling impression of that drivel that comes out of Romney's mouth. The press cannot help themselves. This stuff gives them ratings. If Obama would say something stupid, they'd be all over him. He just hasn't really done it yet. Oh, we did have a good week or two of the "you didn't build that" thing that managed to enrage the republicans. Were you angered over that? I bet not.

Sounds like you've listened to what they said he said instead of what was actually said.

Reports heard today say that it was also edited.

As many of us notice and are willing to admit, the press today have become corrupt and practically commit acts of treason the way they cover/not cover stories. Given the disastrous situation our country is in, led by a man who has brought division on a massive scale to this country, recent terror attack on Americans overseas, could you imagine a press working together to divert attention? Together in tandem, as if their sole job is to save the job of one man.

Up until now, it was obvious the press, largely as a whole, were campaigning for Barack Obama. Yet some how, they have managed to completely make a joke of their profession and sink even lower. Sadly, the joke is on us. They willingly ignore the catastrophes, the biggest problems our nation faces, and even abetting our enemies all to save one man's job. What our press is doing today is indefensible. There is no way they can defend it, there is no way any of you can defend it. Oh, to wonder what would go through their minds if they read this article.

It is very sad, when it is easy to imagine most of the members of our media/press today, as they wake up thinking "What can I do today, to save Barack's job...."

Thanks!

The press did not cover the "you didnt build that" nor Biden's "chains" comments like they do anything Romney would say. And it's not all about gaffes or stupid comments. It should be more about our economy, recent terror attacks and getting answers, as well as other crisis's our country faces.

Do not tell me it is only a coicidence, the press largely stays away or gets off quickly, stories that would hurt Barack. Because it happens daily.

Well, somehow we all find out (through the press) of the stupid things people in the Obama administration says so it's not like it's NOT being covered. I agree that the press should stop reporting on these GOTCHA moments--I don't like it either but I think you should stop crying about it never being done to the other side. It is but it just hurts more when it happens to the side you like, and the side you so desperately want to win. Me, I just ignore most of the BS and I look hard for objective stories on both candidates.

I think it's a national crisis when 90% of our press appear to practically campaign for one side. It is not right, nor fair to the people of this country. Gaffes and certain comments happen, but to go into a frenzy over them ignoring or dropping stories of actual national importance is wrong on so many levels.
