I don't remember "one hell of a tirade", but I remember Todd Starnes book. You do know who Todd Starnes is, don't you? After all, the thread is based on one of his "dispatches".

The Jesus in **** art work is old news, I first heard about it when Pat Buchanan was running against Bush the elder in 92. Has any POTUS ever addressed this issue? Even though I lean right {not {R} } this is a real stretch to attack Obama on

Hey, Grampa, 1987 called and said they'd like their sense of false outrage back.

Nothing that I know of, but he has proposed taking away the National endowment of the Arts gvt funding. Which I agree you are either a artist or not, and if you are not get a job.

Hey Historian(cough)Dude, if the movie was online for months, why did the outrage happen on 9-11? Isn't that worth a question about the timing? If they were so offended, why did it take nearly three months?

It was just an excuse to attack the US. They could have picked any of the thousands of anti-muslim videos that have proliferated on Youtube for years.

Are there Christians blaming the gov't for supporting this display and threatening to harm Americans b/c of that support?

It would be condemned in heartbeat. The US is represented by a mulatto Carter and nothing more. He's doing exactly the same things Carter did. Gutting defense, picking and choosing companies, using scare tactics to create uncertainty and fear. Carter claimed there was a shortage of natural gas and oil and pushed coal, now Obama has a war on coal in the midst of an oil and NG boon.

It's all about the means justifying the ends. Carter was wrong, Obama is insanely wrong. He is blinded by an ideology that has been a proven failure time and time again.

Doing the same thing repeatedy, and expecting differing results is the definition of insanity.
