And I don't even make as much as he does. I hear he is pretty charitable with others' money though.

I would like to see is comparison through the years like they did comparing Bush vs Kerry and Gore.

All of us are aware of the public discussion of personal generosity and
charity that was generated when the public learned that Vice
President Al Gore’s charitable giving in 1997 was only $353. Because
of politics, we also know that Senator John Kerry, presidential candidate
in 2004, gave nothing to charity in more than one year when he was a
U.S. Senator. Before his marriage to Teresa Heinz (whose reported fortune
was half a billion dollars), Kerry’s 1991–1995 charitable contributions
were ($0, $820, $175, $2039, $0), less than one-half of one percent of his
income for the period. In contrast, private citizen George W. Bush gave
($28,236, $31,914, $31,292) in 1991–1993. His highest giving was 15.7
percent of income and his average 9.1 percent. As Texas governor he gave
$27,000 (6.5 percent of income) and $9,178 (2.3 percent) in the next two
years, after which his giving returned to higher levels.

In Biden's defense, I doubt he's functional enough to properly write a check. One can't help but wonder though... How do dopes like this actually make it in politics?

Biden is like a lot of liberals, they whine about low taxes, but they refuse to contribute any more then government forces them to pay, even going so far as to take advantage of every tax break and loophole to pay even less. 0bama and Biden only prove how true the saying is that "liberals are only generous with other people's money."

The Obamas gave 22% of their income to charity in 2011. I believe Mitt's donations were solid, as well.

The genuine POS is, surprise, surprise, Mr. Piety, Ricky Santorum. What a pathetic weasel that nanny-ninny is.

I gave more money to charity than Joe Biden did!

Did you do it to brag to people or make yourself feel better?? Hardly sounds altruistic?

Not defending Biden, but people who do good deeds for bragging rights, whether it's buying strangers lunch or donating, are not altruistic.

I always admire anonymous donors.

I do to, but bragging online is hardly anonymous.

Look at me, look how wonderful I am, you should be ashamed

Is it bragging or using it to make a point?
I was a sniper and can shoot better than you. Am I bragging? I would be if the context was me comparing my skills to make someone respect me or just to make conversation.
In this case Biden and his fellow dems are demanding that one portion pay more in taxes because his side is more morally correct. Yet he gives very little to charity as compared to even average citizens. He forfeits the moral high ground.
Mind you the one portion includes many middle class americans who have saved and have investments. It is not just the evil millionaires.
