It's much better to order people to redistribute money rather than being pleased that someone is voluntarily offering charity as a result of his actions.

Krugman is a hack and a loser. He can't debate. He hides behind his computer and spews some of the dumbest things you can imagine. He knows he can't take someone head on over the garbage that he types everyday.

Totally agree with that.

Just the act of agreeing to debate someone, lends their argument credibility.

List of groups that should not be debated. 9/11 conspiracy theorists, birthers, creationists, Scientologists, followers of Lyndon LaRouche, etc.

Austrian economics was abandoned in the 1950's. It's not a school of economic theory in use anymore.

Group it in the pile along with other nonsense, Marxism, Feminist economic theory, etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterodox_economics

Krugman knows what would happen in the "debate". None of these kooks will come in with open minds.

it's just a chance for them to gain legitimacy by standing on the stage next to one of the most brilliant economists in the World.

Actually, Krugman has far more sense than most of us in the middle to the left who waste our time trying to bring facts and clarity to this group of Pachdermata.

LMAO Talk about credibility. Abandoned??? Anything else you want to make up? You big government supporters with your horrible policies that ruin the economy would like people to believe that wouldn't you? Austrian economics has grown because people with common sense will eventually drift towards policies that work.

Austrian economics predicted the economic crash and they told us the exact reasons why. They also were correct when they told us the bailouts wouldn't help the economy. The were the ones who told us about of the dot com boom and bust before it happened and they were right.

But lets keep supporting economic principles like Keynesianism which has never worked in the long run and causes our economic booms and busts. The busts are always worse than the booms and the end result is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Group Krugman and his supporters with things that should never be counted on. Like A Cubs World Series. Except the Cubs policies never brought a nation to its knees and ruined the lives of countless people.

The problem with Republicans is that they call every programs they don't like "redistribution", such as medicare. And all the other programs that falls into "redistribution" that the Republicans do like (such as military) they call it just spending.

Krugman was merely pointing out the hypocrisy from the GOP. Fact is, he is no more a redistributionist than Mitt Romney.

It's this kind of mindless echo that passes from the idiotic top of the party to the brain dead zombies (registered Republicans) that is so typical of today's GOP.

Constitutionally ignorant statements about spending and the legitimate functions of government. Back to school, please.
